hello!

from this thread on the NZ board...http://www.mivec.co.nz/forums/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=3900

i get the impression we can use evo/lancer front (and rear) sway bars? can anyone confirm this? i have ha d a shitful time locating an FTO aftermarket sway bar.

i can find hundreds for lancer/evo.

can anyone confirm or deny this? i miss cornering ... lol

yeh i found out about discontinued after ordering and paying for a whiteline... ):

thanks for the help guys.. i have an engineer friend in country SA i might ask if he can make one up. or just get a stock one from a wreckers to tide me over.
i also found www.mako.com.au i think theirs was $320 inc delivery.

i really appreciate the quick responses. i love you guys! (:

i cant believe how much handling took a hit from a snapped swaybar. i also cant believe a speed hump killed it ):

Think you'll find a lack of lubrication on the swaybar mounting bush would have been the main culprit ;)
The speed hump was just the catalyst.

What swaybar did you end up going with?
I am the poster of the mivec.co.nz thread and have since fitted the whiteline front and rear swaybars.
Overall the car is more stable, much stiffer and corners extremely flat.
I do not recommend this for a street driven car
