What's with these Chinese sites offering Mitsubishi replacement parts so cheap? Scam or the thing is bad quality full stop?

I mean a TPS for 6 bucks and 30 bucks shipping.

Cheap labour.. we watched a vid when I was studying Marketing and some places had to sell a few hundred of a certain product to make profit, basically they were doing the whole 'FMCG' (fast moving consumer goods) type products you see in your local supermarket but with bigger and more expensive things.

So I dunno what to think here really.

It's happening. They have been supplying wreckers with brand new parts for years. The problem is sorting out which ones are actually good and which ones are not.

I buy lots of stuff from china for work and their biggest problem is consistency. So often we will trial a new part and it will work amazingly for a third or less of the price to buy OEM. However, when we decide to start using the parts more often than not the quality will be all over the place, to the point where the part will no longer fit (bolt or screw holes off my 3mm etc).

In saying that give them 5 more years and they are going to make things very difficult for a lot of companies.
