No, because we are real men and drive manual
Wouldn't paddle shifters be annoying if you're changing gears while turning

DCuatro made a set of those for the FTO. Managed to find a set once and someone bought it from me. Very rare though.

I'm not sure if they can still be ordered. I've tried to get in contact with the guy but no reply, which makes me scared to order it online.
If I get the kit I will be replacing those paddle shifters with a custom design and something smaller, I just want it for the electronic parts and the shift mount

CF only looks good when the panels/gaps are aligned. People got attracted to CF, only to find out that the gaps are uneven, not aligned. It all just expose more flaws than credits.

Even if i had a tip with paddle shifters, I would downshift to the right gear before the turn anyway - isn't that a proper way to do it anyway?

Yes, you shouldn't have to down / up shift in a turn. You should know what gear to go in as you approach.
It's rare that you would need to, and I can't think of a situation where I've had to change gear as I turned :\

I go past a couple of traffic lights where if you take off from a red light, it's a bit of a curve so I'll go from 1st to second halfway through it, talking about these type of scenarios, not while actually driving
Although sometimes if going for a spirited drive through the mountains not knowing the roads, you could always need to change through a turn occasionally, though doesn't happen often (eg. stupid bicycle riders pop out of nowhere, lol)

Oh, I see what kind of 'post whore with meaningful content' you are subby
Anyway, yeah i forgot about those traffic light shifting situations, but im guessing by the time you get the right turning radius, the steering wheel shouldn't be moving too much anyway, but it'd be funny to see someone reacting to that 'stupid bicycle riders pop out of nowhere' situation, being awkward with the paddle shifts while swerving and all
That reminds me, I think I may have almost killed a rider in the last cruise I was in

my spyder is paddle shift and its brilliant

. mind you it is original equipment, but works very well.
Not sure how it would be with the tip on the FTO as mine is a sequential manual. When you press the paddle / button the clutch disengages / gear changes / then clutch re engages. Controlled through the ECU to match the revs as you change. so if you change down at fairly high speed it does actually double de-clutch to get the revs correct.
And I have had it on the track at fun days. and I love it.
