Suspension from other Mitsi's?

I've read around and it appears that there's suspension components from other Mitsubishi models that can fit the FTO.
I've been shopping for some new suspension components and just wanted to know what's definitely able to be swapped from say, a Lancer, Evo or Mirage?
EG: Which models of Evo have the same shocks as the FTO? Which strut top mounts aside from FTO ones will fit?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
