Hi all

hello newbie here on this forum,
i have a serious problem that i beleive you guys can help if not im lost,

my car has stopped going into reverse and 5th unless i raise a piece of plastic that is under the selector that comes out of my gearbox, its a white piece of plastic that curves have way up the selector and sits on a dowel pin,

is anyone able to help at all in where to get this part or even what it is called.

hi this is what mitsi tried to sell me as a replacement,

but it aint this piece, on the selector itself is a white block that stops the selectors from moving out of place.

it sits on the selector lever.

im thinking its part 23241 but would need pick of it.

OK, that is called:

MD749352 - Shoe, M/T Select Lever

There are actually 2 part numbers for this (one is for an early model FTO). As I dont know which one yours is, cant give you a definite.

OK, I think thats the one I listed. If you can PM me your chassis number, I can confirm (DE3AXXXXXXX). Itll be on the firewall behind the engine.
