110 decibel exhaust...500 dollar fine

battery insecure

engine oil leak

lft hand F ball joint loose

lower rear engine mount broken...

150 for the above but have 3 days to get them fixed or car is undriveable till its fixed and i have to drive back to melbourne tuesday........Help? :(

nope it's only 4 small exhausts..

depends where you need to go to get them fixed if you have to report to them or any place theres dodgey people out there that can get the defects off

You think it could get fixed cheap or i could do it myself? I seriously don't know what to do. If i died in afganistan defending the country they wouldnt even give a sh*t. So pissed off right now..

i have no idea, i just got a wheel alignment and tyre power didnt tell me...
i went over the pits. Was so sh*t.. Even had my mum in the car. The c**nts..

lol they have pits for police operations.
Its not like a lower engine mount is life threatening, a ball joint maybe. but thats rediculous.
They should just be looking for bald tyres, exhausts and brakes and seatbelts. saftey and noise issues.

not sure with my defects i didnt have to show they were fixed. but they didnt report every single item, just said "vehicle in unroadworthy condition"

i'm gonna be in a sh*t mood till january when i have things under control. Nothing but drama with this car so far

its been a year of dramas for me, finally ironing them out though.

bought car 13k spent 7k on it so far...

if you know any machanics they can sign the defects off all they have to say was at the time of the inspection there was nothing wrong with it they cant control what you do once you drive out of there

i know of a few people who have had there defects cleared and didnt do a thing bout it just payed

Sorry mate, I have no idea, I never been defected. I think you have to be signed off by an RTA accredited engineer thou. Who's to say the cops gear for measuring DBA was out of wack or the oil leak was just condensation. You just dont know...

And the rta said any mechanic just within 3 days i need it signed off.
