I just wanted to know what it's like compared to genuine vs kit.
It's from DND in qld.
I just wanted to know before i bought it as i'm just gonna be having it as a spare.

Replica's are just made out of fibreglass and all of the ones from DMD are great. Your gonna be paying top dollar for genuine kits and will have to import from japan (1-2k+)

Only this morning, I just notice my bar from dmd ain't straight (lower piece) fck it!!!

and, @renz fyi, the major difference is the material itself. Fiberglass can't sustain any force. Once caught an impact, it cracks/breaks/shatters. Unlike genuine kit made of plastic might just get a dent and a finger push would pops it back to shape.

Are you sure andrew? Mines from dmd and is straight :\ ... have you got it fitted yet?

Just got it into workshop this morning and the guy said he'll fix it before fitting it.

It's not the entire bar, it's the bottom piece that seems uneven/twisted like 2 or 3 degrees? Pretty obvious when looking at it on horizon level.

How much are the body kits from dmd? I tried to search for myself all I came up with is this website.

@Sweep, full kit? Over a thousand.
Front bar alone around 500, skirting 300+, rear 400+. (depending on which kit u looking at)

All kit from dmd are unprimed. Cost quite a bit if you expect a proper prep-ing via putty with 2pak primer and sand down twice, before painting over it.

I'm preety sure they stopped making the kits aswell so its only what they have left (not sure - ring to confirm) but i'm preety sure they are out of Bozz Speed front bars now.

just a plain warehouse outside and i was initially lost,
can't figure out where dmd is untill i saw the gorgeoulicious z4 & 200sx sitting in a warehouse. slrrrrrpppp~ and a hot-chick name Kim, sitting inside the office.

Dunno if they are closing down or whatnot...

That 200sx has been there for so long, i had a chat to the guy about it... he said it's been there for 6months and they guy has paid for the work done and stuff and just hasn't picked it up.. apparently he's done so much work to it and the guys just loaded and doesn't really care about it .. Yeah kim's alright ay

ahahah all this talk about kim and 200sx's is making me jizz!
