I attempted to change the lower mounts from the cross-member and gave up due to the bolts being too tight.

So I just took it down to my mechanic for him to change all 4 and he just called me to say that 3 out of the 4 are the correct parts and one of them isn't.

The one sitting above the gearbox isn't the same as the one that's in.

I had a look on the Complete FTO site and there only seems to be one for a 5 speed tip model.

Does anyone know if there's more than one type that sits above the gearbox?

Argggg, 5 speed tip. Forgot to ask that question as they arent at all common. Sorry for the mixup. Happy to do a refund on the 2nd hand one I sent. Dont have a 5sp tip mount to replace though (although I might have a lead....). Can definitely get one new, but it will take a week or so im afraid.

Also how much , if you can get it, for a second hand one?

Have to go through someone else, so if they have one, itll depend (not much I would guess). AS to the new one, about the same as for the others. Have you got a number I can call you on (Send me a PM). Ill make a call now and see if I can raise them?

Christian did a manual conversion a year or so ago and still has the 5 speed tip box (damaged) with the engine mount attached to the tip. We dont know what sort of state it is in, but he will have a look for me tonight. Ill be ringing him back tomorrow to find out the news.

If your connections one is in good condition then ill take it but if its not great i might need a new one.
