Need help with A/T control relay system

Hi all, my fto stuck in the limp mode i.e 3rd gears with flashing N, i took it to diagnose, the mechanic says it is the a/t control relay system. any ideas where to start or what should i do? any help would be much appreciated. thanks

Check the relay?? Under the stereo sort of.

first check error codes link is on this site
can be few things such as input sensor, g/box ecu or even a simple fuse

Replace the relay mate.

Yeah this happened to my gfs magna after her heater core leak. Gearbox was in limp mode and code says it was relay. So we replaced it and everything was back to normal (except for the heater core which is still stuffed)
