How do I change the fuel filter

After hearing about bens problem I think I might want
to change mine. Now how the he'll do you do it as I never have done it before.
Also what filter do I use as In what brand and part number

Hj galant IIRC. Its pretty easy to change but a f**ken nightmare to get to.
Especially yours will be unless your fitters relocated it like I did.

I had to pull all my intake plumbing outta the way before I could even get to it.
First undo the 14mm nut on the fuel line into it (underneath it) then the top nut on the fuel out line (19mm from memory)
Then undo the bracket that holds it to the firewall (2 x 14mm)
Always undo the lines before unbolting it from the firewall.
Enjoy the scratched up forearms you'll inevitably get!

Oh and im a biggy on releasing the fuel pressure before removing the fuel line. I have had fuel squirt in my eye before and it f**ken stings. Just remove th back seat (bottom section only) and disconect the fuel pump plug or just remove the fuse.

Thats a good point. When I released the pressure from the lower line, it pissed fuel all over the hot exhaust

bahaha simon that would suck ass haha. lol mmm ok this sounds like a bitch of a job since my intake pipes for both turbos are one piece lol. maybe it is easier to get it from the bottom lol. time to find a mate with a hoist lol

Yes it was, I think from memory I got the bottom peip from the bottom and the top from top. Just use a jack
