Would anyone be able to recommend sites/places that sell bonnets. I dont have my mind set on a certain design so Im shopping around basically but I will have to find places that can send overseas to NZ.

Few random questions are do vents cause much water to get into the engine bay and whats the deal with pins, when do you need/not need them?

re vents: not if they are done properly, most designs would have taken the whole water thing into consideration.

re pins: assuming you are talking about bonnet pins?
1, they make fitting easier, as some fibreglass/carbon fibre pieces warp a little when they come out of the mold, so having the 2 extra pins means they have an extra 2 spots to use to secure the piece therefore easier to get a perfect fit.
2, safety reasons, as the composition pieces are much lighter and more flexible than your original steel bonnet, there's a higher chance of them catching the wind (especially after some slight dmg already) and flip up. but as others have said on here, I've yet to hear of that actually happening on the rds.
3, maybe legal? (you should check with your local regulations on this one, maybe they r required? either way, if you are going to get bonnet pins make sure they are recessed into the bonnet)

Great. Just got my skirts fitted but the bastards didn't touch them up like I asked.
