okay, need some help

got hit on the drivers side rear quarter panel by some f^@*% in a lexus 4x4 last night at roughly 11pm on george st in the sydney CBD. THE M*#*@#*~@%$% DROVE OFF, and i couldn't see his number plate. P.I.T. manouvers are not fun when they happen to you.

went to the cop shop, said they couldn't do anything even though there are a fuckinshitton of cameras in the CBD.

basically, how do i get this f**kers number plate, if i can get this f**kers number plate.

all i know is that it was a creme lexus 4x4. its like the previous model land cruiser but with a luxus badge and leather seats.

please help, i don't want my insurance money to go into fixing dads car. i need it to fix my FTO!

Who controls those cameras?
Get in contact with them for a snap of the wanker hitting the car.

Sorry to hear lawso, this sh*ts me to no end as its happened to me as well. Shoot off a few emails to the rta and find if they can get you some footage/snaps of a lexus at the precise time you got hit. Might be a bit of a treasure hunt but its worth a look. Can't be that many creme lexus 4wd.

oh yeah, forgot to mention, was driving dads ford mondeo zetec which makes it that much worse...if i just suddenly stop posting, my dad has killed me

Same thing happen to my old man 2 days ago. His van is a write off though. Cops said they cant do jack sh*t either. He is trying to get camera footage but we are all very doubtful anything will come from it.

it may be a long shot but you could ring up a couple of mechanics and ask if they have had any creme lexus 4wds in lately for body work

Just pay it if there's nothin you can do.

I had a guy decide to take a u-turn on a freeway in damp conditions in front of me once and i ran into the guy in front (behind him) as i had snow tyres on and wasnt expecting to go to from 100 to 20kph when there was no trafic build up. That cost me 2 grand for the excess to pay to the insurance company but the next time i had to pay for a renewal they dropped my (pointless interior mods) coverage a bit and it evened out again so there was no real no-accident bonus lost...

Don't be too optimistic, unless you got the number plate, there is very little the cops can do for you.

They will just do some filing for your case and sit back eating donuts.
