buy paint stripper, wheel paint of your choice, various grades of sandpaper and go nuts!

1. tape off all areas you dont want paint stripper on.
2. apply paint stripper
3. wait
4. sand (rough grades to smooth grades)
5. paint!

Don't really need the clearcost, but it won't hurt.

I've sprayed wheels using less steps and they still look like the day I first sprayed them... so long as the car's washed

I've seen the difference between the clear-coat and the standard paint, I personally prefer the extra touch of clear-coat. I'm also thinking of doing a silver stripe around the outer rim, but I know I'll stuff it up

you dont really have to paint the stripe.

after you strip the paint, tape off the bit on thw rim you want silver and paint/clearcoat the rest.

after that just use various fine grits of sandpaper on the strip then finish off with buffing wheel and alloy polish.

Where's the primer? I recommend clear as it will make the paint more durable.
