Hi Guys,

Here we go again, it's time for the Annual Coffs Harbour Interstate Cruise.

Simon (I8AFRE) and I organised this in 2008 and 2009. Unfortunately we cant do a 2010 trip so we want to make 2011 massive!

The dates are 13th - 16th January 2011.

We are starting the thread now so that you can all get the time off work (mine has already been approved!) and save up.
Simon and I can arrange accommodation and will need deposits nearer the time or you can arrange your own.

What's involved? NSW heads up to Coffs on the Thursday in convoy at a nice comfortable pace and we get to Coffs just in time for dinner. QLDers head down and normally get there at about lunch time. Simon stocks the fridges with beers so they are nice and cold for when the NSW crew arrive. We hit the beers hard!

Over the next few days other activities include Jet Skiing (we have a good relationship with the jetski hire man), Go karting, fun fair (try riding this while pissed, we did in 2008! http://www.coffsjettycarnival.com.au) Dolphin and sea lion shows, the list goes on.

For those who have been to Dstocks bonfires you'll have an idea of what to expect...

i'll see if i'm still a resident of NSW at that time, but my god i want to come to this one

so what time would you be leaving and from where in Sydney? just want to try and put a plan together to see what sort of time / day i would need to leave Melbourne. its approx 10 hours to Dstocks for me, then according to Google maps another 820 kms (10 / 11 hours) to Coffs. would make it a couple of long days to get there and a couple of lllooonnnggg days to get back. plus 2 extra days holidays (sick days).

and is "spency" in Hobart ? maybe drive together? meet you off the ferry.
would love to do it, but will have to wait and see if the plan can come together.

We were actually meant to leave earlier, but I was still hung over, and had to drop the bike off for a service...

But yeah about an 8-10 hour drive if memory serves correct...

Yeah, I like to leave just after the morning rush, say no later than 11am. It took about 8 hours to get to Coffs. We basically leave from Olympic park, Homebush. We had to go a little slow last time as I had a hole in my exhaust and Craig doesn't have many points left to play with.

f**k you all wish I could come but will not travel in summer here, its even a drama for me to get from one air conned car to airconed building for me

Oh and the fact it would be a mammoth drive for me from Adelaide
