Leaking Transmission.

I've been aware of the fact that there was a slight leak when I bought it and it was just a drop a day or so.

But recently the leak has gotten worse and I'm worried that it might damage the gearbox.

The fluids aren't at an extremely low level but I was wondering what the deal with the gearbox is.

Are there gaskets that can degrade or wear?

Also, if anyone's had the same issue, how much did it cost to get fixed?

Thanks for any help you can give.

They can also leak from oil filter and hoses that go to the radiator.

mine leaked from one of the bolts under the tranny that couldnt be bolted any tighter so it was sealed up.
