I have done some research of prices and all but i just wanted to check if someone here knows of a miracle deal so when i do buy mine where i believed is the cheapest price i could find, no one would say "oh you should have checked on here in the forums, i know where to get them for $100 less" or something like that.
Maybe a group buy perhaps. I've been meaning to get an alarm and i really should get it asap.

I might be interested if the price was right.
I was researching the M80 too and it seems like a pretty decent package.

The only thing is, if you use the blue LED make sure you cut the positive wire and solder a resistor in - pref something over 10k (it sounds wrong but one of these in the uk in my mates vito looks like a midnight disco) its impossible to drive at night as the cab goes from black to daylight blue every second.

personally I wouldnt buy mongoose again. I had one break in with it and now it has just died. I got no central locking and I had to get a sparky to rewire it as it stop my car from starting. Something he said he saw quite regularly with the mongoose.

I have mongoose M80 installed in my ex integra for 1year and it works just fine as it should be. If im being picky...the signal range is average and the remote is ugly.
if i have some spare cash, i would go for 2way pager remote with remote engine start....scare the hell out of some people....lol

Yeah but wait till you get to the 2 and 3 year mark. I dont know about anyone else but I sure as hell dont like replacing a alarm every 2 years. Mine did 2.5 years of working perfectly before staring all this crap I have had to deal with lately. Oh apart from the break in that they were able to disable it within about 30 sec.

I have one and have it in the car for almost 4 years. Its been good and the ultrasound works very well.
If I could say anything bad about it is that the auto arm thing is a little annoying and the sound my alarm makes changes pitch randomly!

Yeah mine just started that last week, when arming and disarming sounds like it's balls are dropping, if you know what I mean. lol
