FTO AUSTRALIA

Somebody asked me if the FTO ever same out as a targa top. Having looked around the car and the roof, I reckon it would look f**king awesome as a targa top. Having the roof cut just where the indent in the roof goes straight up the middle and having it come off as two pieces, like a Nissan Exa.

Being different to a sun roof where you have to cut a bit hole in the middle of it, would it be easier to move the structual support of the car to run down the middle?

Just throwing ideas around here guys.

Would kill all the handling.

I can recall a UK member was working on a soft top FTO about a year ago.

omg targa top, i think fto's with a fully open sunroof looks hotness! but im interested to see a targa top fto! that one with the evo motor , roadster style doesn't look too bad!

short answer is no, they have never come out with a targa top. Never seen one done either...

would look awful in my opinion, based on the aero top supra...

I dunno.. I like the look of the GTO targa top

Quick paintshop and google and wellah ... i wouldn't like it tbh. I don't mind the GTO/Supra though

TBH, I had thought about......... For about 30 seconds until I remembered how much of a pain in the ass it was to remove those f**ken things on the exa I owned. SUNROOF FTW
