Evening all,

noticed that on the way home today, had to plant my anchors as some chump pulled out from me at a roundabout. My brakes are a bit rubbish, i own a gr and was thinking of upgrading them to gpx calipers, slotted rotors, and ebc green stuff pads.

Anyone know of any better setup that wont cost me more than $1000, noticed that rpw do a kit and was very tempted.

nah discs $300ish, callipers (gpx shares them with some evo and lots of other mitsi $200ish and pads $150 ish then new fluid and really good upgrade.

But in short term try doing a fluid change will gaurentee they will feel %200 better

hey
I've got a GPX so the callipers are ok, but my discs were warped badly, so I recently put front RDA slotted rotors and Bendix CRT brake pads on, about $180 for discs and $77 for pads, so all up: approx $260 for parts, Brakes are now dramatically better, really nice upgrade :)

I've got the UAS kit (was about $1400) & its awesome, but a little bit overkill for street driving on 330mm rotors. Have a bastard of a time just finding pads that will bite when cold.
