Had a request from someone for a steering rack boot today. You muct be able to buy an aftermarket kit for this rather than trying to source genuine. Anyone with a part number or a lead on what to get so I can let them know?
Thanks in advance

Found this thread too late.
Got mine from Auto One today, and was for a Lancer(I took a chance).
Approximately $23/- each and based on size, seems a perfect fit.

How do you change it? Take off the tie rod and slip it on??

Yep but make sure you count the turns when your removing the tie rod as that is what sets your toe in/out. Piss easy job

Does anyone have pics? Just got told by my mechanic that mine need replacing as they're starting to crack. If I can I'll change them myself and save the labour costs.
