Would you believe carmate......

I bought mine off rockit, but I believe new fibreglass ones are around $650 unpainted. For CF you are looking at over 1K. The carmate site will have prices.

Still have one of the bars in the shed that I want to move. Also have one in Sydney with Bennoz.

Have indicators without the bulb holders. Failing that, can get complete units for you if required.

Have complete genuine foglight units but they arent necessary. You can also get aftermarket foglight units on EBay at a good price

The bars cost $500. Ill do both indicators without the bulb holders for $75 or I can order new ones from Japan with bulb holders (which will set you back around $200). You can pick up a set of foggies thatll fit off Ebay for around $30 from memory. Freight would be on top. Im in Canberra if that helps.

Actually, that occurred to me yesterday. Might have to rig something up (or go fast enough so the water runs up the slope )

[quote.. are you going to blend your sideskirts with the panels?[/quote]

Im not going to say I havent thought of doing that. Would be a stupid thing for me to do though as I do live in an area where the car can be prone to clearance issues. Even so, im sort of still considering it.

Oh and thanks for all the comments

Had mine on for ages and never had any problems... The vents are pretty much over the suspension/strut .. So no real risk of damage...

There is nothing that stops water flow, but I have contemplated putting a bit of foam there to stop any water... However, my car is not a daily driver anymore, and is lucky to get out 1 day a week .. So it does not bother me at the moment...

@ Dwayne - I have pondered blending the skirts as well ... But with them being f/g and the car being metal, the cooling/expansion rate is going to differ significantly... So eventually you will see stress cracks.. Although mine is not a daily, I could probably get away with it, but with yours... Hmmm .. Not sure if it is worth the risk...

I have contemplated the wide body kit on the Silvia as well... And looked at the same problem.. In the end, if I go wide body for the Silvia, I will rivet it in, and give it that butch/beefy look as apposed to the smooth "show pony" look ...

I waited a while for mine .. But got it through UAS .. As well as the sideskirts...

The sideskirts had the CarMate sticker on them, which is why they didn't fit .. But UAS after some discussions took the skirts back and gave a refund... So I am assuming that the bonnet is from CarMate as well ...
