I'm about to do my 100,xxxkms service and I'm buying a Dayco timing belt kit from ebay (w/ hydrolic tensioner). My mechanic reckons it'd be worth swapping the alternator and power steering belts since they're coming off anyway. The ebay store I'm purchasing the timing belt kit from say that they may also be able to provide the other belts however they don't know whether it'll be compatible since it's a GPX with Mivec.
I got the alternator part code off
http://www.myfto.co.uk/ but just wanted to confirm that it'll be compatible with my car. Can't find the power steering one.
Alternator Belt: MD184973
Power Steering Belt: ???
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

Just go down to your local auto shop & ask for a 4pk940 & a 6pk1080. They're about $15 bucks each.

Thanks for that. Ended up being about $80 for both from my local Repco but that's alright.
So far I've ordered: Dayco timing belt kit (w/ hydrolic tensioner), 6x Iridium sparkplugs, waterpump & the above two belts.
Do I need anything else (for a major service)??

Not really. Some folk opt to swap out gaskets like the cam seals, but I only bother with that if they're leaking.

I had a 6pk1076 from Camskill when I ordered the belt kit from them.
Mine is a 95 GPX. Anyone had the same belt as me?
