was going over my engine the other day and where i have my thermal gasket for the intake manifold there is oil sitting on the gasket where it sticks out abit from where it sits, like it has seeped out.

is this anything for concern?

i thought there shouldnt be oil in the intake manifold in the first place, but i dont want to take it to Autoshaft as im sick of their bullshit and am still in the process of finding another mechanic with fto knowledge.

ill take pics and post up tonight

what do you guys thing?

You can get oil in that area due the the little pipe that runs from the heads back to the air intake pipe.
These are used to vent the gasses out of the heads.
As you may have seen a lot of ppl put catch tanks in to stop the oil going back into the engine.
Small amounts is nothing to worry about.

I know there will be others that can inform you better about this, I just can't think of other ways to put it, need sleep 24 hour shift fun :?

ive got a catch can. except the pipe from the head to my UAS intake pipe is still there.
the pipes that lead to the catch can are from two other places

might have to re-do it once again.

this is such bullshit i hate autocraft :(
