hmm .. where are you?
You could PM DStocks .. I'm sure he has some.. otherwise PanelHouse in Brisbane etc
I'm going to hijack your thread to ask if anyone knows where I could get some custom metal gear select cables made up? Mine are a little bit melted & makes shifts a little sticky when it's cold..

I've gotta get one made as well. Genuine, they are very difficult to source. Most of them get snapped up by guys doing manual conversions.
My mechanic pointed me to these guys. They quoted me less than $100 to make one up.
http://www.cablesandcontrols.com.au/
Just gotta get a sample one down to them so they can replicate it.

I can get new cables from Japan, but they will take up to 2 weeks to get here.

I've gotta get some new cables made up as well.. need them made to stand up to the high temps in the engine bay as they're directly next to my turbo exhaust pipes..
have you contacted them yet?

Not yet. Need a sample genuine one to give them first.
Mine suffers the same issues as yours, the rear hairdryer is only cm's away from them

its a massive pain in the ass.. however, I've had good results wrapping 3 layers of exhaust wrap on the exhaust side of the turbo.. it's cool to the touch now .. can rest my hand on it without dramas, even after hours of hard driving
will be wrapping the extractors & all turbo exhaust pipes in the same way which sohuld keep the heat in the pipes where it should be..
send me you bank details & i'll shoot you half of the cash to buy a set of cables from Japan through DStocks to use as a sample
