how much do 17/18" mags throw out speedo? how to rectify???

hey just wonndering if there is a way to correct the speedo if u whack a set of mags on ya car?
17's wouldent throw it out much would they because a higher profile tyre like the 1 on the stock mags should only be as big as a 17" mag with a low profile right?

Might have to take it to a mechanic so they can recalibrate the speedo.

provided you get tyre size correct it wont affect it at all
so 17 inch should be 215/40r17 to keep exact rolling diameter as original size wheels/tyres and 18 inch should be 225/35r18
heres a handy site for you its called 1010tyres has a calculator to work it all out

there is a calculator online

It spits it out in mph but easily converted with google.
