yayy after being in hospital for three days i finally got back home. new and improved with two steel plates in my dam arm

cant drive my car now either.

what happened?

whats goin on there ?

It's great to know every thing went well mate and you are back home.
How long did they say befor you are fit to drive again?

i have to go back and see the ortho in 2 weeks to get my cast off and stiches removed. the plates will stay forever though. hehe should be fub travelling and such...

well to all those interested, a section of the natio did not agrre with my riding. i overcooked a corner about 5 km out of stanwell tops and low sided into the ebankment snapping my radius and ulner in my left arm.. havent seen the bike yet (its in woolongong atm) but the last thing i remember was looking down at the speedo fully tucked in at it said 130...saw the corner come up said oh sh*t to myself..made a futile attempt to break and the rest is history. flagged down a few passing bikers and they called me an ambulance. the bottom half of my left forearm wasnt connected to the top half so taking off my leathers was fun. morphine ftw!!

but i believe the leathers saVED ME. thank god i walk away with only a broken arm.

the search for new parts begin

Same thing happened to me .. Around the corner .. Wrong side of the road .. Coming up to another corner, where a 4WD was coming straight at me .. Tried to go between it, and the little shoulder lane (no way I could get back on the right side of the road).. The rear wheel lost it in the gravel, and I got dragged along the cliff at about 130 ...

Bike finally came to rest between the cliff and a tree... I was lucky.. Only my shoulder smacked into the cliff and I stayed on the bike the whole time ... Was able to pick it up (with the help of my mate) do a bit of bush panel beating, and ride it home with only the rear brake, and the plastic fairing catching on the wheel when you would go to turn ..

About 8k's worth of damage to the bike, and only a few grazes and bruises to me ..

now im trying to find some transport for the big back. i do have tie down ropes and can get a trailer but does anyone have a car will tow bar they dont mind lending me? or even better coming down with me to woolongong? im looking at going on tuesday?

Is the bike able to be ridden .. I could bring it back for ya if so .. Other then that, don't have a car with a tailer... And am almost down the gong every weekend...

it is rideable. just needs some mirrors. ill pay for petrol if you want to ride it back??
