TBH I wouldnt bother replacing it, not really effective as if someone does want to take your car they will break it again very easily

You probably arent going to like this, but you will probably need a new steering column. The lock is built into that and there are special bolts that are used to attach it all together. Easier to replace the whole thing than to drill out the bolts and replace just the bit thats broken (I had my car broken into about 18 months ago with the same result). Additionally, there is a chance your steering column is now bent as well (mine was). The later model FTO's used a slightly different column, but all the early ones are pretty much the same from memory. I have 3 or four columns down in the shed if you want one.

all good my bro took out the steering column as i had other issues with it and he said the same thing, not to bother. So i wont

But i am after the two little bushes that sit inside the support to hold it in the bracket, i hope you understand what i mean. Do you have them??
