Guys,

I need a belt replaced, but mechanic said they'd have to order it in so I told them I'd source it cos it would be cheaper.

Part I need is 6PK1070 ... where is the best place to get it from (dstocks? :D )

Also keen on getting some new rubber seals for my doors, noticed a fair amount of water was leaking into them during the rain over the weekend.

Cheers.

Sure its not 6PK1080?

Either way, most Auto One / Super Cheap / Repco stock 'em.

Mechanic said that the part listed was 6PK1065, but that they tried one and it was too tight. So they said that it should be 6PK1070.

I guess I'll just have to try the 1070 and if it's still too tight, grab a 1080.

I see what you mean, they don't even appear to make 1070. I'll have to call the mechanic and see what they say... wonder what is on there at the moment?

I can help with the door seals. Have a few lying around. You should try and make the bonfire!!!!!!! That way you can choose what you want. Its not too late.

I would love to mate, honestly. It's just such a big time commitment for me, when weekends are really the only time I have to get anything done :(

I'll make it down to your property one day I'm sure... most likely when you coincide your bonfire with the ski season so I can drop in on my way back from Perisher :D

Re: the door seals, I'll check the thread of who's going and press-gang someone into courier service for me!
