Parked the car out the front of my nans house. The lady across the road reversed right into the side crunching the door inwards.

Yep, made sure to get everything I need. She's insured with RACV. Hopefully they send me a nice big fat cheque. Then I will just get a door for as cheap as possible and use the left over cheque money for better things

So it's just the door that is damaged? there is no surrounding damage?

Yep just the door which took the blow.
When we got the knock at the door I was hoping my car took a huge ass hit writing it off.
That would have been hello $14,900

Well, happy to sell you a door for $40 (wont have the glass or any of the internals). Have heaps of them lying around. Might even have one in black. Which side you after.

Driver's side mate.
I won't be able to make it to the bonfire but I'll pay courier costs etc etc.
But before I say give me your bank details.... still need to see what RACV want to do because they might try fix it instead of handing me a cheque. (please cheque pleaaaaase! haha)

The money will go to the repairer direct from past experience.
Tell the chick to not go insurance (if profit) and tell her to pay ya the money instead.
