Thanks.. i gave camskill a call ended up buying a new one from them for 60$ which includes postage to my door.

camskill are no 1 they need to open a shop in aus ... oh yes lovin the xchnge rate at the moment party ended up being cheaper came to 45$ with delivery

Um, quick note re your first post, that part is not actually the thermostat housing. The thermostat housing is lower down, the inlet hose housing...
The part you have pictured is the outlet hose housing.
Hope you've ordered the right part?
