Bringing my machine back to perfection, (previous owner didn't know what they had)..... Engine done, now I'm doing the looks part. QUESTION, I am about to re-spray the plastic barrier between the top of the bonnet and the front windscreen, it is badly faded and armoral wont do the job, so I am respraying it a satin black, the same as I will be doing the wiper arms. My question is, the heat that the engine produces is going to flow up past this plastic, does it matter what paint is used????

You won't need heat paint just normal paint will do.
Just make sure you do a degrees and oil clean on it and use a primer befor painting.
