Just bought my much awaited fto & when im using the immobiliser it seems to lock the drivers side door but leaves the passengers side open?!

any hints or tips to help fix the problem?

Sounds like the locking motor has gone in the door just need to go to your local adio shop and get a new one.

yip just get a generic one its a real easy job to replace too.

Anyone bypassed the oem system completely?

I want to fit that two door jaycar kit and cbf working it out.

what for? just replace motors and use existing wiring and relay

Very easy do to. You don't even need to buy the kit with the 'master' and 'slave' actuators, just buy 2 cheap slaves & splice the loom on the drivers door. Connect BLUE/RED to the GREEN wire and the BLUE/BLACK to the BLUE on the actuators. They are all coloured coded the same, no matter what the brand.

I've just been lazy but both actuators failed at the same time. Changed the relay did nothing.

I'm guessing its a faulty with my alarm or am I missing something? I can get the actuators to lock, but then unlocks by itself. So the actuators go out in then no matter what I do, then I gave up

yip its just the motors mate I had same prob dont be so lazy

Tried hooking up the actuators again and still it's doing the same thing. I have no clue about alarms so I don't know what I am doing.

I reckon I knocked something causing the central to screw up.

I got the wiring diagram for my alarm. Does the actuators hook up direct to the module or triggers some factory system??

Also alarm does not go off when doors open. Something to do with the door sensor to alarm issue?

its a negative lock system bt your manual doesnt show the diagram for it.......

Any way look at Fig 1 and the two wires that are unused should be used instead of the ones that are, these coonect into the wires that go to central locking relay, you will need a test meter to find out what ones do what.

I assume you have replaced actual lock motors? these are just a straight swap out 2 wire connection

So there is a special relay in the FTO? These two wires will go straight to the relay?

correct its the centrel locking relay, sits under dash on drivers side, just remove panel under steering assembly (thinks its labelled to)
