I've got a friend who claims he's got friend who just bought a GPvR for less than 8k.
Is that possible?

is that normal these days? I feel a little ripped off.

Anything is possible ... K's + condition I guess...

I have seen some dealers selling late model GPvR's for about 12-14k ... So to haggle them down would not be too hard depending on how long they had it ...

Or, he could have imported the car himself, and bought a lower grade at auction ...

When we bought ours I looked at dealers and they all wanted 12-14 back then for 95 models with 125000+ ks.

We bought our facelift for 10k with 150000k second hand. and that was..... 3yrs ago? now.

Car could have so much wrong with it, it's not even worth 8k. so who knows.

was it manual??? There should be more salesmen like that :)
so apart from it being a mistake or a car that is absolutely about to die, then normal price for gpvr should be around 11k-14?

That makes me feel a little better. 8)

yep its a manual. good condition, engine runs great. only thing we faulted was a dying battery

yeh your estimate would be correct... IMO gpvrs should be worth more, sadly they arent

I've seen gpvr in decent km/condition and they were going for about $10,000....around the 8k mark is possible but usually have a thing or two wrong with it.
