Along with my struts (mentioned in another thread), my mechanic has also advised I need the replace the following parts (with their quoted price):
Bump Stops (front): $110
Rack Boots: $200
Link Pins: $70
Radiator Cap: $45
Those prices are parts only and for genuine parts. Does anyone know where I can source those items - preferably new - cheaper than those prices?
Cheers,
Gavin

Stupid question (I ask a lot of them). Does link pins = drop links or are they something else?
And also, I should be running shorter drop links since my car is lowered right? (I'm trying to glean what I can from "The Suspension Thread)

You are in Queensland, with many other members. Buy the parts where you can get best prices, then organise a DIY day. I am sure these members will be more than happy to help you out with fitting *cough* Simon *cough*
Shocks etc are really easy to do with the right tools (spring compresser is mandatory) and then just make sure you immediately take it to get a wheel alignment.

Ok, thanks. I think I'll order them in from Camskill.

Just had a quick look, found some, also out of the UK. Have contacted them to see if they can source the lowered height drop links.
I asked Camskill and they said only the rear drop links need to be shorter if the car is lowered, the standard length on the front is ok for either lowered or stock height.
