These are the biggest bitches to get off!

has anyone done them? if so what was your trick?

Taken everything off as well as the sub frame for a bit more space but no luck, the bolt is just in a stupid position ... cant believe it

ratchet is too big to fit in and cant do anything with the spanner because it just hits the inside of the wheel tub ...

please help

sorry I don't have any pics, but,

u need to loosen almost completely (leave about 6 turns) on the long bolts holding the subframe up from the side behind the struts, then the 2x bolts for the subframe under near the sway bar brackets, do the same, then jam a socket bar in their to pry it down enough to fit a ring spanner in between the body and the subframe, u will be able to get the spanner in their but it will be very small turns at a time, so u'll need a little patience, but if u have a look and think about it before u get started it's not too difficult.

HTH.

Well tried all that and failed...

Which side are you using the spanner from? on the outside or inside of the bush?

Dont think i have the patience for this job? Will probably let the experts handle this one... :(

from memory u need to get the spanner in from the inside of the car, through the opening u create by levering and jamming the crossmember down.
