FTO AUSTRALIA

Hi,

As i have previously mentioned i am looking to buy an FTO. While i was looking on Trading Post, i came across something i was interested in:

I have contacted the seller, and he has said that the car is in an overall excellent cond, besides one small chip/dent on door where someone opened a car door on it, and one small bit (about 6 cm2)of faded paint near boot.

I was hoping if any Western Australian members could do me the favour of going to check it out for me, and giving me their opinion on the car.
I would go myself, but my parents dont want me flying interstate...

The seller is located in Gosnells, but i wouldnt want anyone going out of there way to go see it. I have just looked on Google Maps, and it looks like its a 42 min drive from Perth.

I understand this is asking a lot, but i would be most grateful.

I hope you've bargained that price down, or atleast going to try. Offer him $7000

If worse comes to worse, you can always get an RACV full report on the vehicle. From memory, that costs about $180? They go over the whole car for you letting you know of even the minor things.

Yeh i'll try to get it down, but i still need someone to go look at it first

Do you have to be a member of RACV, before you can organise an inspection on a car?

Is that the Western Australian equivalant to SA's RAA?
