So i recently moved into a new house, however my carport thing whatever you wanna call it, has abit of slant to it, so when i go to jack my car up...it slips of the jacks(not good)

And seeing as i live on Brisbane's steepest street,i cant really go park it outside the house whenever i wanna work on it..

Anyone know if there jacks designed to be used on an incline, if so would they be round the same price as a normal jack?

or a solution to my problem that may not cost so much..
iv tried putting bricks behind the wheels, didn't really work..

Really you should not be jacking up on incline..... I bet people have before and got away with by chocking the wheels, but its just no worth it mate.

why not just level your carport?

Yeah, i had no idea the incline would be a problem till yesterday, tried it only twice and just left it because as you said, its a really bad idea.


Leveling my car port.. wouldn't that be a fairly costly option?
if worst comes to worst something like that would probably be a good idea, just trying to find some other alternatives before i do something like that.

Cost of leveling your carport all depends on how steep the incline is, if it's paved or not etc.
figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a level space to work on regardless of what u use and what you do.
