How long can you leave your car with out driving it?

Hey guys.
I'm back ... got a new FTO GPX and it is GREAT. Imperial Red, extreeemly well maintained engine, with new radiator, water pump and all belts just changed out. Goes harder than my old one. 8)

Anyways I'm using it as more of a play/showy car and driving just an ordinary Magna to work and around the place, shops whatever if I need to. The good news is I'm not wearing out my FTO by using it as my daily driver (I have to travel 100km each way to work and back every day) which I kind of did with my last one.

It's safe and sound boxed in by my housemates cars in my driveway, however I just need to know how long I can actually leave it for without driving it? Should I start the car every few days or so, or is that more harm than good?

(If I had it my way I'd take it out everyday but I don't want to be a pain in the neck for them, it's a bit of a hassle.)

At this stage I'll pretty much only be taking it out on weekends.

Thanks for the advice!

nothing wrong with just using it as weekend drive as thats all i do now having a run around is great :D

just make sure you still service it regulary not by kms but by time so still still change oil every 6 months instead of 5000kms etc

Ok no worries, I've heard some bad tales of engines seizing and gaskets corroding so that puts my mind to rest a little. :)

I would also disconnect the battery if your going to leave it any more than a week.
