hey guys,

after having a wheel alignment done i have found out that the fucks have screwed up my suspension... i need new ones, i need them fast because i cant afford not to have my car on the road... what has happened was that when i turned the car i could hear a noise that sounded like metal getting caught on other metal, one closer inspection what seems to have occurred is that when the wheels were aligned they somehow loosened the suspension where the struts sit n the metal one, sits higher, two, rotates where it shoudnt n three, because that happens its worn metal into metal...

apparently the shocks i have are an american brand (Question 1: what brand could that be?) that apparently noone in australia stocks them... they dont know how long its going to take for them to get them in, i dont know how much im looking at and i cant drive my car now anywhere because the mechanic has taken it apart... dear god HELP

Are they coilovers. By the sounds of things they are. You dont need to put the same ones back in. There are a few different ones you should be able to source locally I would have thought

Sorry, cant answer that question. Not really sure. If you end up needing to replace one, id replace both though. No good having a new one and a used one. Hopefully someone else can answer that question for you.
