But looking at the pic it seems that speed was not a factor in this as the scrap marks on the road are not that long, I would say that the driver was distracted or somthing like that.

i agree with you, i drive past there a few times a day and all it would take is a small distraction at the wrong moment
What makes these P Platers think they are invisible?? They gamble with their lives and with the lives of the people on the road. Unfortunately, it will be the good P Platers that will suffer. Where do they get the money to pay for such cars?? Thats who should be held responsible.

i agree, the city road can be quite complicated and lots of distractions on both sides of the road(if you know what i mean).
Can be quite a bit of adventure if coming down from the country side.
