hey guys,
i was having a look in my fuse box becuase my foglights dont work(pretty sure its the fuse becuase both bulbs look pretty new), but i didnt know where the fuse for the foggies were. the cover was all in japenese
also how come there are no fuses in the ABS spot? all that was in english was ABS on the fuse box cover, thats how i could tell it was the ABS. is this normal, or should i get some in there asap?

Does your car come with ABS? IF not then there wont be a relay for it.
As per fuse box identification

Check your fuse, but its a good chance that the switch has burnt out. Fairly common problem

take a pic of your engine bay and i can tell if you have abs or not.
There will be a distribution block type thin on your firewall near your battery with libnes coming out of it.

ABS on FTO's was only introduced after 1997 wasn't it?

hmm if they were after 97, its weird why it would have fuses for ABS in the 95.
will get pic of the engine up tomorow

ABS was an option on the pre-facelift and standard on facelift.

that the switch doesnt turn on the foglights? becuase the switch turns on the parkers when i press it.

Its a dual switch. Basically the fogs aren't relayed and the current draw from the fogs come directly through the switch! Stupid idea to begin with. If the fuse checks out fine, take your switch out and it will be melted where the switch connects onto the harness.
Hook a relay to the dash light circuit if you cant be bothered getting a new switch.

at this point I would say no But can you take a pic looking down at the back of the bay drivers side, that will give a better view of what is needed to give you a 100% answer.

Definitly no abs, as dwayne says, things like abs and traction control were options. So it doesnt matter whether your car is a 96 or a 98.
And further more i would totally agree with payaya, it will be your switch a very common fault

ah i see
yeah it must be the switc, i changed the fuse over and it still didnt work.
just a question, is the foglight button ment to turn on the parkers? or is mine just wired up that way?
