Just wondering if it is good to get a Engine or Transmission Flush done...I have read mixed reviews in other forums and some have experienced dead engine or poor performance in a few days after a flush...Your comments or experience on this?

For engines, Im a fan of doing it only when it needs it - ie you have sticky lifters or similar. Beleive it or not, the crud buried in corners of motors actually helps seal the motor. Constant flushing can lead to gasket erosion.
Trannys on the other hand, I feel can be flushed more regularly. Crud floating around in them is not good.

why do you want to fill it? With a flushing machine it automatically puts into the tranny what it took out.
