FTO headlights peeling!

Hi all,

Ive got a problem with my headlights they are peeling what can I do to remove the peeling should I do it myself,if so whats
the best way?

Yeah i guess its a common problem,iam just worried i might damage it more:S where can i get the materials?

Supercheap auto or Repco.

Don't feel you need those exact products, the rubbing compound can be substituted with any cutting/rubbing compound. The T-cut is just a polish and you could really use any polish.

for the final polish, i used Brasso brass polish, it gave a good result. i also used that clear plastic film that sticks onto the headlight to protect them from stone chips, it was pretty easy to apply.
oh, and also, welcome to the forum. 99% gr8 advice, 1% tongue in cheek.

i used 'mothers metal polish' and it worked a treat after about 10mins of wet n dry 2000 grit sand paper and its a big improvement for crusty cancer headlights
