So i have a 1995 GPX (pre facelift model)
so on the lights in the front you have
1.headlight (low beam)
2.headlight (high beam)
3.parkers
4.fogs
there is a buttom near the gauges where you can turn on your high beam but for some reason my fog lights dont turn on?
why is that? could it be faulty wiring or something? or do you have to set this up?
thanks guys

the button is for the fogs, not the high beams....
high beams u have to push the light stick towards you.
i think thats what u mean??

it sounds like they may have switched high beams over to the fog light button, if so thats a little odd and maybe they've disconnected the foggies completely

could be the bulbs? could be the fuse? could be the wiring?
best thing to do is find out which fuse lines up to the fogs (you can go to an autobarn n they can check whether all the fuses are working) next step would be to see if maybe the bulbs need replacing
then, if none of them are the reason ud prolly look at the wiring, if your not car oriented, i would advise an auto elec

Hey, this is an old thread, but my fto came with no foggies, there is a mesh where i think it used to be, is there a way i can reinstall the foggies ? i think the wires are damaged, can they be replaced, is this an easy fix ?
thanks

Since this is similar i thought id put it in here instead of making another topic. One of my fog lights doesnt work so I pulled it out to have a look. Theres a connection at one side of the globe which connects to the white cable and another wire going into the rectangular housing with no wires coming off that point. The wire that goes into the housing has snapped, anyone know how to fix it?

Just solder them back together and whack some heat shrink over the top. Good as new

Just dont crimp them.

just run a new wire or reconnect it.....
as for switches prob above they are common for switch to fail, best solustion is to either replace or make your own circuit and switch so to prevent it agian
some ftos did come with no fog lights or housing for them, best bet is to replace replace the pod housing with ones that have them

yeah all good mate
no need to do anything with pod filter just the light cluster pod
you will already have the light wires ready to go as all ftos will have same lights loom if they have foggies or not.
they are simple to replace when you get new ones if you need any help along the way just ask

ok thanks vipfto, ill just find a replacement cable as one of the cables have their ends unusable, its unconnectable like someone burnt the end and sealed it, on the other side, i cant find it yet(hope its in there)
Ill just ask you guys for information on what cables i need to essentially make a fresh connection for the foggies...
cheers..

can you put a pic up? just a little lost now sounds like you mean the wire that comes with fog light bulb? is it more like a nylon rope style cable than a actual wire?

Thanks... how much for the 2 fog lights ?? i have projector headlights so i might want something that will match , i dont know the specs of the light though, eg, color, etc...

no prob mate, the wire will connect into the back cover of the fog light (the plastic/rubber piece you twist and turn to get access to the bulb and no soldering required)
go for the arctic white or blue bulbs if you can to match up to rest of lights about 6000k i think....
not to sure of price for light cluster maybe dstocks can help you there and bulbs prob around the 40 dollar mark for the pair (go for quality too like narva ETC)
