CV boots

inner CV boots.... are they the same as hj galant? or does anyone have part numbers generic if possible

are these the ones one the drive shaft closest to the gear box. I got mine from repco they had it in their computer as fto and I think it was 14 bucks.

Yeah i am pretty sure they are the same as the hj. But take the old one down with you if you can and just check it against the new one

yeah i think they are hj galant too simon but the boot is totally shot agree with ya though/repco are f%&king useless with getting right parts if i could take it i would :x

Yeah thats one reason i dont do cv boot's, that and its the messiest job ever. My local guy does it for $55 bucks a boot or $85 a shaft. For that money it just aint worth my time doing ;)

I have to agree simon it is a bitch of a job I did mine the other day and all I can say is damn u get grease everywere.
I found repco to be good here mate and the boot was the correct one. As I said they had fto in their computer with the correct part number.

yip got em today from repco they are right part :D

yeah its messy but i`ll do it myself as its just going to be sitting out at my place not in car, but yeah its gonna be messy :evil:

Yeah, not one of my favourite jobs. Same here thou, called local auto shop & just asked for a HJ Galant kit & it did the trick. Don't think I kept the part number thou.

part is 100-519 repco`s own breand for inner CV boots

Yep, 100-519 is the correct part number. Just replacing one on the racecar today...

If you ask for Mitsubishi FTO though they'll give you 100-044, which is way wrong!
I guess that's what u get with Repco lol!

I've told them to update it, but they probably won't... :roll:

Ah no they gave me a 100-044!! sh*t!! Doesn't it fit at all??
