For that price you get a hell of a lot of spare parts though. Excluding the engine of course, but even interior bits, seats, rear panels, wheels, and bound to be some good salvagable bits in it. Even pieces for working on some type of project, like the dash, or door cards, or practice for just taking parts in and out.

1) Yeah but it wont stay at that price for long
2) Tthe problem i have if some noob buys it, thinking he car get it going (by believeing only 3.5k to fix) for cheap but will end up costing more than if he just brought one off the shelf.

Personally i wouldnt pay anymore than $1500 and thats only if engine and all the other parts you mentioned were sweet.

Theres no way it could be fixed for that price I agree, in fact I think its pointless even thinking of buying it to fix up, its purely a parts only car, its wrong to be even advertising it as a fixer upper, and the fact that, as you say Simon, people that dont know the car would take the seller at face value and try to fix it up and get seriously fleeced in the process, is a joke and highly unfair. I think a price of 1500 would be enough for it, the engine alone and a good gearbox would make a good bit of that back, but I wouldnt think either of them are rescueable from the pics, only parts of each.
