Crap, bad luck. Must admit its strange hearing fellas on about hitting kangaroos, being from Ireland the largest thing we worry about in the mornings are rabbits, obviously dont make half a dent in the bonnet thankfully!!!

Could have been worse, could have hit a cow. Old lady died here last year after hitting a cow (took legs out and the body rolled onto the cockpit of the car, crushing her).

Big red roos's have been known to take out trucks and the problem with roos is they are so quick. You can be driving down a completly straight road 100% visability and all of a sudden this thing comes from the bush on the side of the road and BANG, all over red rover

yeah just about hit one the day after getting the turbo finished. driving to work and this big bastard came jumping from left ( i was doing about 70). luckly the 4wd in front of me swerved (after driving on the m1 i have a policy if the car in front swerves, then follow suit) i followed and as it got to the medium strip, it just stopped dead in its tracks.
Thank god for that otherwise im pretty sure i would have hit him

Ouch ... But I was actually thinking it was going to be worse... I have seen some pretty bad roo accidents before...
So, looks like
front bumper
front bar
2 lights
radiator & fans
radiator support
hood
Then spray ... Front guards look good, and from the photo's it does not look like the chassis is bent, as everything seems to still line up ... The front bar does not looke like it is too far off line also ...
Source the parts, then go to a panel beater and let him know your not going through insurance, and it should not be too much .. Would be a shame to see a nice looking FTO like that get sold as a repairable car .. So fingers crossed that it only needs the above...

Your right there. And i've got the parts. Just getting them home from sydney. I should be able to get it done with some family members and friends. Respray is the part that i cant do with them... But its not something that im that fussed about getting it done asap. i want it done, dont get me wrong, but it aint a priority compared to the rest.
