Help: Bringing an FTO to Canada

Hi Guys,

I moved to Canada from the UK and am looking to bring an FTO over.

The import requirements are strict but I think manageable.

I need help check two things:

1. Do the standard head-lamps carry the DOT or E stamp?
---> If someone could post a picture of their standard head-lamps that will show any stamping / embossing or serial number card that would be awesome!

2. The glass must carry the AS1 logo throughout. Again pictures showing this would be awesome.

Currently there are no legally registered FTOs in Canada so no-one to ask on this continent.

Thanks!

Robert

So with some help we discovered the glass is acceptable. For future records the stamp is on the right quarter.

No one has been able to help on the lights. If anyone has a spare assembly could you please check the inside of the assembly for any stamps or serial numbers etc....?

Im pretty sure the headlights carry a DOT. They need to have that to pass Australian regulations. Im not going to get a chance to check that for a few days though

Thanks for the replies.

Whenever you get a chance a picture would be awesome.
