Leaving the FTO scene..

Hey guys,
Most of you who were at the diy day in sydney will probably remember me, have the black FTO with chromies (no where near as retarded as olly's ones)
Im just about to put my FTO up for sale as its not as fast as i'd like it to be despite spending money on mods, and couldn't get money together quick enough to buy Jeffs FTO(love the mivec and the look of the car though). I'm going to get a GTO twin turbo imported from japan 2000 model most likely and def a manual!
Anyone ever piloted one of them? If they have some knowledge i'd appreciate the info.
Don't know if i'll have the FTO when the interstate cruise comes to coffs but either way i'll have a mitsubishi
But don't dispair, in a couple of years when another good FTO with a turbo comes up for sale i'll be back

Jeff's had his fto up for sale since December 2007
He hasn't sold it yet either
Although I understand your need for speed, although I heard GTOs aren't very good around corners so it may be a bit of a dissapointment in that department after driving an fto, although you'll have the power there to street race all you want
Gl with the sale man

Yeah he's got a buyer who put full payment down got the email last nite.
I figured the big ass on the GTO would make it a little rough round corners, but on the plus side for track work the GTO has the pulling power for the Hillclimb where my FTO just can't keep up till the corners come. I think the downside will be at khanacrosses due to the nimbleness of the FTO.

I drove around a GTO when I was looking at getting one.
Soon as I drove it, I didn't like it.
I like big cars, but I just felt out of place, it was to big, the interior didn't hug me, I felt like I was placed in the car and not apart of it.
Plus I didn't much care for the handling. and that was a 96 model.

GTO's, fantastic cars, and I would love one, but honestly far too big.
All that technology and engineering should have been put into the FTO!
Imagine that, factory backed 3 litre TT 4WD 4WS FTO
