Can someone please tell me what this is.......

(The circuit board with the black box and fuse on it)
Is it to do with the illuminated kick panels?
It is making a high pitch humming noise atm how can i stop it?

If it is for the fluros or ccfls that go under the dash, then it would be the inverter, and if it's humming, them it's probably the vreg, prob a cheap chinese one.. not a lot you can do except repalce the reg.

i connected the kick panel up to it today and then thats when it started humming but the kick panel still doesnt light up
can someone please give me their opinion as to why it is not lighting up?

youll probably need an electrician for that....

It's the voltage regulator, do you have a multimeter?
you will need to check the output to the kick panels.

Dude i would not be just hooking up random stuff if you dont know what your doing.
Next time your down here i can take a look at it for you
