i want the hks pod, BUT will it fit under the uas heat shield? As its more wider than any normal pod.... Factors being a p plater and i need to have ikt concealed is a big thing waying my decision.

Either this or the apexi pod will be my choice. Both pods are featured in the fto pod filter test thread

(sorry i dont have pics)

did some research on different pod filters and found that autosalon did a competition shootout to find out which pod filters had the best air flow, filtration and price. no surprise when i found out the winner was a cheapo ebay pod (big brand products are never always the best), here is the article

Meanwhile, FTO-OC did some test and the HKS came out WAY on top.
There was a link posted up in another thread.
But yeh.

My FTO has one, they do a brillian t job, just replaced the element, dunno how many K it did, but color wise was like slime green vs hyper green.

after reading a about 10 articles and reviews on the hks super power flow, the main problems with them are

- they degrade and when it gets used and old it slowly breaks up and gets sucked into the engine unless you replace them foam every 6months
- minimum for a foam replacement is $60 opr so bux from ebay
- some reviews give it a 5/10 filtration rating but airflow is preety good

]b]Hey kj[/b] how much you selling it for... Is it in good nick, i didnt get a real good look @ the cruise today.
